According to EU requirements contained in Regulation 1223/2009, a cosmetic product must be safe for human health under normal or foreseeable conditions of use. Consequently, the Producer, before placing the cosmetic on the market, is required to carry out an analysis in terms of product safety, i.e. to have a Safety Assessment report.
