The GBA Group is pleased to announce that the 2022 re-certification audit in the area of safety and environment has been successfully passed, according to DIN EN ISO 14001 and the DIN ISO 45001, for GBA Gesellschaft für Bioanalytik mbH. This time, the company's headquarters in Hamburg and its laboratory sites in Freiberg, Hamburg and Pinneberg, the latter with their new premises, were inspected.

The Committee of the EU Commission (Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed (PAFF Committee)) has agreed to introduce new limits for mineral oil residues. Especially the aromatic mineral oils (MOAH) are suspected to be carcinogenic and mutagenic.

After the kick-off of the collaboration between Amedon, which is specialized in developing and delivering web-based solutions for clinical research, and LKF, the central laboratory for phase I - IV of clinical trials in northern Germany, the first results are visible.
Together Amedon and LKF have analyzed the relevant IT processes and data flows in the eCRF and developed solutions to make processes more secure, faster and more effective.

Dr. Sabine Gorynia takes over responsibility for the Pharmaceuticals business unit as of July 1st, 2022.
