LKF supports the worldwide movement of #pinktober and #movember against breast- and prostate cancer in cooperation with our logistic partner #DHL with pink and blue socks for every employee. We hope the movement finds its way to as many people as possible – at work but more importantly at home. The proceeds will be donated to #PinkRibbonGermany and #BlueRibbonGermany. Preventive medical check-ups can identify these diseases at an early stage and increase chances of healing significantly. As a clinical laboratory we know well the value of early check-ups and would like to draw attention to this import theme.

The construction site of our new "state-of-the-art" building in Neuried is about to be finished in November and will then be handed over to GBA Pharma Labs. Our partner Zefa Group will start installing the laboratory furniture in this month also. GBA Pharma Labs have expanded their testing portfolio in the field of syringe testing. With the zwickiLine testing machine from ZwickRoell required tests can be performed with standardized test tools and prepared standard test specifications. This significantly reduces the adjustment effort prior to testing. Tests on primary packaging materials and on the combination of drug and primary packaging material (known as a combination product) have gained in importance. Numerous ISO standards such as ISO 11040 for prefilled syringes and various chapters of the US Pharmacopeia (USP) such as USP <382> or USP <1382> require physical and functional testing of combination products.
