The Stuttgart location is one of the GBA Group’s laboratories specializing in water and serves as the headquarters of the Water Business Line. From here, we serve clients nationwide in the housing sector, healthcare, industry, the swimming pool and leisure sectors, as well as public and commercial facilities.

In addition to the Stuttgart location, the Water Business Line has other laboratory sites in Germany as well as a Germany-wide network of reliable, full-time, accredited samplers. This enables us to conduct sampling and testing efficiently, regionally, and consistently in accordance with uniformly high quality standards.

Our range of services includes, among other things, the analysis of drinking water, cooling water, and swimming pool water, as well as hygiene inspections and property surveys. In addition, we support our clients in complying with legal requirements, evaluating test results, and developing practical measures to ensure consistently high water quality.

A key source of added value lies in our deep industry expertise. In addition to our analytical expertise, we have extensive experience in the housing sector, swimming pools and water parks, as well as evaporative cooling systems, wet scrubbers, and cooling towers. • An individual customer service representative accompanies you throughout entire projects, providing you with consulting on the scope of testing required, determining suitable sampling points, and the results.

Sampling:

Planning, scheduling, and executing the sampling of the following matrices:

• Cooling water from evaporative cooling systems, cooling towers, and wet scrubbers in accordance with 42 BImSchV / VDI 2047 Sheets 2-4 / VDI 3679 Sheet 1
• Drinking water in home installations (legionella, microbiology, heavy metals) in accordance with the German Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV) and DVGW W 551 and the current UBA recommendations
• Drinking water in local water networks in accordance with the German Drinking Water Ordinance, DVGW worksheets, DIN standards, and VDI guidelines
• Drinking water from water-bearing devices (drinking water fountains, dental units, water coolers, etc.)
• Water from swimming pools and baths (in accordance with DIN 19643-1 and UBA recommendations)

Drinking water

• Accredited chemical and microbiological analysis in accordance with the German Drinking Water Ordinance (e.g. for legionella, microbiological parameters, heavy metals, etc.)

Swimming Water

Accredited chemical and microbiological analysis of:

• Swimming pool water from public swimming pools or baths (indoor/outdoor, hotel pools, whirlpools, etc.)
• Natural freshwater for swimming (e.g. small ponds, streams, lakes, etc.)

Cooling Water

• Accredited chemical and microbiological analysis (in accordance with 42. BImSchV / VDI 2047 Parts 2–4)
