ANALYTIK LABOR Dr. Kludas has been active in the field of environmental analysis since the year 1990, specializing in soil and water analysis. The laboratory has a quality management system in place and regularly takes part successfully in interlaboratory proficiency tests.

Fields of Service

Drinking Water, Groundwater, Wastewater

  • Drinking water sampling and testing in accordance with the German Drinking Water Regulation of 2001, without radiological parameters
  • Analysis of groundwater, surface water, and leachate
  • Water testing for swimming pools and bathing water
  • Wastewater analysis
  • Testing for small water treatment plants (COD, BOD5)
  • Groundwater and surface water testing for concrete and steel aggressiveness

Cooling Water

  • Microbiological and chemical analyses
  • Testing in accordance with the 42nd German Federal Emission Protection Act (42. BImSchV)
  • Testing in accordance with VDI 2047-2

Soil, Recycled Materials, Contaminated Sites

  • Testing in accordance with the German Federal Soil Protection Act
  • Testing in accordance with LAGA Soil and LAGA building rubble & recycled materials
  • Analysis of contaminated sites for identification and declarations
  • Testing and analysis in accordance with the guidelines for the recovery of mineral waste in road construction
  • Soil and sludge testing in accordance with the German Sewage Sludge Regulation (AbfKlärV)
  • Testing in accordance with the German Construction Waste Act
  • Testing old ballast according to the German Railway Standards of 2001 (Bahn-Norm 2001)
  • Testing road construction material, asphalt, and classification into utilization categories

  • Analysis of compost and plant substrates in accordance with the quality control and testing specifications for compost provided by the Bundesgütegemeinschaft Kompost e.V.

  • GC-MS: Gas chromatography with mass spectrometry coupling
  • GC-FID: Gas chromatography with flame ionization detector
  • HPLC (UV, DAD): High-performance liquid chromatography with UV/VIS-detector and DAD (diode array detector)
  • ICP-OES: Optical emission spectrometry with inductive coupled plasma
  • TOC, TIC, TC: total organic carbon, total inorganic carbon, total carbon
  • AOX, EOX: adsorbable organic halides, extractable organic halogenated hydrocarbons
  • IC: Ion chromatography
  • Photometry (spectral photometer): ammonia, nitrite, phosphate, iron (II), chrome VI, COD (cuvette test), phenol index, anionic surfactants, sulfide (H2S), cyanide

Chemical-Biological Tests

  • BSB5: Biochemical oxygen demand in 5 days
  • Luminescent bacteria test: Determination of the inhibitory effect of wastewater or water samples on the light emission of luminescent bacteria (Vibrio fischeri)
  • Chlorophyll/pheophytin: Photometric determination with methanol extraction
  • AT4: Respiration activity after 4 days, microbiologically degradable portion
  • Zahn-Wellens Test: Determination of the biodegradability of wastewater by means of DOC measurement.
