Four ingredients for over 500 years - International Beer Day

Water, malt, hops and yeast - that's all the ingredients needed to comply with the purity law for German beer. Beer has been brewed in Germany in accordance with this law since 1516. The Purity Law is thus considered one of the oldest food regulations in the world and has long since become a byword for the quality of German beers.

On the first Friday in August, "Beer Day" is celebrated internationally. We use this occasion to draw attention to the fact that beer must also be tested for food safety. It is not only the end product that is important, but also the safety of the raw materials. The brewing water, hops and grain should be examined for contamination in advance.

We know our way around the analytics of beer!
