Effective immediately, you can now also reach us at our new laboratory site on the 3rd floor of the “Centre for Biotechnology and the Environment” (Zentrum für Biotechnologie und Umwelt – ZBU II). In the first step, we are establishing REM analysis. This will enable us to complete the analyses of asbestos and artificial mineral fibers even faster, which is especially advantageous when measuring ambient air.

Last week, our experts for fruit and vegetable analysis presented themselves at the German Fruit and Vegetable Conference (DOGK) in Düsseldorf, sharing a booth with awenko:360. The GBA Group provided information on a variety of topics, including the challenges involved in supply chain management, the requirements for residue analysis, as well as the latest developments in this field. By working together with awenko:360, we provide innovative and personalized consulting in the field of supply chain management, as well as a wide spectrum of services in the field of fruit and vegetable analysis.

Hamburg/Mönchengladbach, September 5th, 2019. Last year, biomess Ingenieurbüro GmbH, located in Mönchengladbach already became part of the GBA Group. Now, biomess Ingenieurbüro GmbH has merged with GBA Gesellschaft für Bioanalytik mbH (GBA).

The merger is based on the GBA Group’s very strong development on the market for asbestos analysis as well as the very close cooperation between the GBA locations that are involved. From now on, the ability to directly access a shared IT environment and to work together with a single quality management system will create even better conditions for further expanding our asbestos analysis, for example at our location in Berlin.

GBA will be holding a presentation at the Specialist Forum for Environmental Analysis on September 5th, 2019. This event is taking place in the context of the Annual Conference for the Laboratory Service Sector in Giessen at the Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences (Technischen Hochschule Mittelhessen, THM). Dr. Sven Steinhauer will be moderating and providing information concerning the issues being dealt with at this specialist forum for environmental analysis.
