LKF celebrates it’s 30th anniversary

If anyone had told me 30 years ago that I would one day post my acknowledgements on a platform, I wouldn’t have believed it!

I also wouldn’t have believed that our two-man business would one day grow into the wonderful 140 people company that LKF is today.

Driven by a vision and great vigor, Prof. Wolfgang Junge and I started the company in an old 40 sqm bar, equipped with nothing but a hemogram, a photometer, a microscope, a telephone and a fax machine. Not to mention the big basement that we planned on using as a wine cellar in case our idea wouldn’t work out.

Thirty years later, with many more employees and even more square meters (still with a basement but without the wine), LKF has grown into a well-established central laboratory, a reliable service-provider and partner in clinical research. As a member of GBA Group Pharma we have become even more flexible in establishing new methods and services.

I would like to express my special thanks to my committed and motivated colleagues! This development would not have been possible without this outstanding team. I enjoy working with you, implementing exciting projects together, and mastering difficult situations as a team.

I am looking forward to further exciting times with you! Thank you for these 30 years!
