GBA Group continues its expansion in the Asian market
Investment in Asia Labs strengthens GBA Group’s presence in Southeast Asia
GBA Group has acquired a majority stake in Asia Laboratories Pte Ltd (Asia Labs) through GBA Eureka Singapore Pte Ltd. With laboratories in Singapore and Malaysia and around 75 employees, Asia Labs provides laboratory testing, on-site testing, certification and technical consultancy services. The acquisition marks another important step in GBA Group’s expansion in Asia and further strengthens Singapore as a strategic hub for the region.
Asia Labs was founded in 2018 and subsequently acquired Singapore-based RAK, a laboratory services provider with a history dating back to 1983. Today, the company serves government bodies, contractors, developers, material suppliers and manufacturers across major infrastructure and construction projects. Its core capabilities include accredited civil, chemical and mechanical laboratory testing, covering areas such as soil, aggregate, concrete, environmental and construction-materials analysis. In addition, Asia Labs provides on-site testing, technical consultancy and product certification services. Through RAK, the company contributes more than 40 years of local market experience and over 100 accredited specialised testing services.
