The properties of the food sample are perceived, determined, and analyzed by means of the individual senses (sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing), by observing them visually as well as consuming the food product.
With this process, the condition and/or quality of the food product can be assessed. In the food industry, the sensory test is an essential building block for quality control, product development, and the determination of shelf-life.
We provide you with the simple descriptive test, conducted by a trained and qualified panel of testers, based on DIN 10964. In this test, the characteristics and/or characteristic properties of the test sample are described verbally.
