A specific analytical method
Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) is a specific analytical method which is required by pharmacopoeia but is also increasingly applied besides this. Capillary Electrophoresis is a physical method of analysis based on the migration, inside a capillary, of charged analytes dissolved in an electrolyte solution under the influence of a direct-current electric field. Our experts have the necessary expertise and the required equipment to support their partners from method development and validation up to batch control testing. The CE is used as orthogonal method to the LC for even UV inactive substances for determination of identity, assay, and related substances. Furthermore is CE the method of choice for separation of analytes critical in IC, LC, and GC. Examples are anions and cations, organic acids, peptides and proteins, and amino acids.
